La ville d’Uzès et Marc Stammegna, commissaire d’exposition, présentent la deuxième édition d’Uzès Exposition qui se déroulera du 8 avril au 15 octobre 2023 dans le cadre exceptionnel de l’ancien palais de l’Evêché qui abrite le Musée Georges Borias, labellisé Musée de France.
Cette année, venez découvrir les œuvres de :
- Auguste Chabaud (1882 -1955) : à la fois expressionniste et fauve, il s’agit d’un peintre qui va au-delà de la couleur. Ses œuvres frappent par leur rude austérité, tandis qu’à d’autres moments, il fait exploser les couleurs.
- César (1921 – 1988) : il réalisait des œuvres en employant aussi bien le fer, le bronze ou le marbre, sans oublier la mousse polyuréthane.
